About Kim
When I was 10 my parents gave me my first journal that I filled with poetry about nature, spirit, longing, fear, beauty, and curiosity. I read poetry that made me feel comforted - more alive and less alone. I devoured novels that made my heart soar and made me see the world, or myself, a little differently. Writing (and reading) always connected me to "something bigger."

But even before writing, I found dance. The ballet studio with all its smells, sounds, sweat, and magic of creation was my heart's home. There, I was transported beyond the walls into magical realms where anything was possible. There, I pushed my body beyond its every day limits. There, I fell in love with the gifts of music and dance that consumed my passion and gave it a home. There, my deepest emotions found expression and release. Perseverance fed purpose. I found a way to use my voice through my body and choreography, and to express myself beyond words.

As I grew up, my worlds collided. My love of dance, writing, helping others, and the exploration of vulnerability, pain, loss, love, and humanity converged into multiple chapters of my life from professional dancer and choreographer, to life coach, to founder and director of multiple arts and human services nonprofits.

Through all my chapters, a deep yearning to connect hope, compassion, and love to the belonging we have to one another and to deeper truths and beauty, has remained. Along with the message that each person is "enough," as you are, right here, right now, deserving of love, filled with gifts, capable of healing wounds and making meaning of the moments of our lives; capable of bringing light into this world and relieving suffering by being with each other along this journey of life.
